Often, I am simply awe-struck by the creativity and exuberant spirit of others. My Fairy Godmother, Paulee Gomke, is such an artist. For my recent birthday, she wrapped my gift so beautifully that I was nearly unable to open it!
Paulee cut a graceful silhouette out of handmade paper, and stitched on a pocket. She embellished it with vintage florals and ribbons, and a string of pearls. In anticipation of my “opening” dilemna, Paulee attached a Velcro closure along the bottom edge, for easy removal of the gift inside.
